Tryon Cluster Development

8 Scandinavian Cottages on 7.7 acres

As we always say, it all starts with place. This project is no different. This land was selected because of its natural beauty, its advantageous topography and its close proximity to services and entertainment.

This project is in its early conceptual stages.

Thoughtful Sustainable Development

Instead of building cookie cutter neighborhoods such as those commonly seen throughout the country, especially the South, our goal is to create a small cluster of homes surrounded by open space in conservation. Cluster development may seem like a foreign concept, but it’s actually a housing development method that has been used for centuries. Think central green spaces in New England towns, or medieval European villages. Due to antiquated zoning regulations centered around the automobile many municipalities do not allow for cluster development. Luckily, the Town of Tryon is ahead of the curve and allows for this wonderful housing type.
